Exhibition «Dombyra-Dastan»
On October 23, 2024, in the Kyzylorda region, Kyzylorda Regional Museum of History and Local Lore, on October 25 - Republic Day, in the art gallery named after S. Aitbayev, a traveling exhibition "Dombyra-Dastan" was opened, organized by the Department of Culture and Languages Development of the Atyrau Region and the Atyrau Regional Museum of History and Local Lore.
One of the most valuable and important exhibits from the museum collection was a silver-plated and bone-inlaid dombra dating back to the 19th century, as well as a copy of the dombra of the national hero, Kazakh poet Makhambet Utemisov, the great poet Abay Kunanbayev, the dombra of the People's Artist of the USSR Nurgisa Tlendiev, dombra of the talented kuyshi Azidollah Yeskaliev, Rysbai Gabdiev, Karshyga Akhmedyarov, Aigul Ulkenbaeva, Seken Turysbekov, Asylbek Ensepov and of other literary and artistic figures, public figures, and craftsmen of musical instruments. In total, about 70 exhibits were presented.
The exhibition ran from October 23 to 29.
